As Parents, we are always concerned with our kid’s Health and Height. Even though height is something which is considered genetic but feeding the right kind of food can do wonders with your child’s health and some stretching exercises.Genetically my husband’s family is tall but in my family everybody including me is short. I cannot be sure about my little one’s height so I have included these food products in his diet so should you. This is a natural way!!! First, we need to understand what can promote height. Anything that can increase calcium intake, make the muscles strong and also help in building up energy. So there are many day to day food items and some not so often eaten items but their consumption should be increased if you wish your kids to grow tall.

Milk and Dairy Products
Milk is obviously very good calcium intake so every child is supposed to have milk but there are some kids who don’t like it or have an allergy to it so try including dairy products like Curd, Cheese, Paneer, Yoghurt etc. Even Flavoured milk work wonders if your child does not like plain milk.
All Green and dark coloured vegetables are good sources of iron and calcium. Vegetables like spinach which might not be your child favourite so try including it in orange juice or vegetable puree. Even Carrots which is loaded with vitamin A helps in making bones strong.
Egg & Chicken
People who are non-vegetarian have loads of options for strong bones. Chicken is a major source of protein helps promote body weight. Include it in soups, salads or main course and watch your child grow Fast!!! An egg is a wonder food product which even doctors highly recommend to kids. 1 boiled egg every day or a delicious omelette, try variations include them in pancake or egg bhurji.
Encourage the consumption of soya milk in your kid’s diet and help them grow tall. Even their milk or milk products like tofu and cheese are very good for health. If your child has allergy with dairy products include these in your kid’s diet and watch them grow strong and tall!!!
A bowl of oatmeal is a healthy breakfast routine. It has a high amount of protein and no fat. This is one of the healthiest food for your child’s growth. Oatmeal upma, oats chilla even oats cake and muffins are some options you can try with these.
This is a natural way of increasing your toddler’s height.My little boy loves oat upma or cookies. I also give him flavoured milk since he does not like plain milk. Sometimes I do give him egg though we are vegetarian so cannot include chicken in his diet. I always prefer dark and fresh vegetables like spinach, carrot, capsicum to be in his food plate. He has to finish his vegetable along with the chapati. Some menu changes here and there can help a lot in building up your kids strong and healthy.
